Signposted off the A1 heading both North and South, the Garden Centre sits on the outer edge of Dunbar next to the ASDA Supermarket. We have plenty of free parking for our customers, with electric car charging points located nearby at the ASDA Supermarket carpark.
Buses service Dunbar from Edinburgh, North Berwick and Berwick-Upon Tweed. For timetable information please visit East Coast Buses, Borders Buses and Eve Coaches, or pick up copies available in store.
Dunbar Train Station is located close to the High Street and is a 20min walk from the Garden Centre, with regular bus stops on the way. For timetables visit National Rail.
Dunbar is the last stop on the John Muir way which begins in Helensburgh, following on to the John Muir link which takes you to Dunglass. This historic and scenic route stretches 134 miles or 215 km across Scotland’s heartland. Visit The John Muir Way for maps and further information.
The John Muir Way also provides safe cycling routes to Dunbar, in addition to clear signage for the National Route 76 of the National Cycle Network running from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Edinburgh, Stirling and Kirkcaldy, with the route on both sides of the Forth. Cycle racks are situated at the front entrance of the store.
Disabled parking and toilets are available at our garden centre. Our garden centre is one one level, but visitors may use our wheelchairs at the front of the store.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our garden centre and the outdoor seating area of our Restaurant, (with access from the side gate at the front of the garden centre). Please note that no dogs are permitted in the Farm Shop area or the main Restaurant.
